About Wellspring Brighton

Tucked into Brighton's Southern Hills neighborhood, Wellspring Brighton is a residential-style home built for 8 residents who share the same living and dining spaces day to day. That small headcount means everyone can gather in one room for meals and settle in together come evening. A furnished living room and a kitchen used every day give the house a lived-in feel rather than an institutional one. The caregiving here covers the basics that get harder to manage with age: dressing, keeping track of medications, and moving through the house without a fall.

Wellspring Brighton bills no one through Medicaid; the arrangement is private pay from the start, so families work with one monthly number instead of sorting out waiver eligibility. Care can be added as a resident needs more of it, but the ceiling stays at assisted living. This isn't a home that transitions residents into skilled nursing. Because only 8 people live here, days move at a personal pace, small groups gathered around a table, or one caregiver sitting with one resident.

Staff who've been with the home for a while learn each person's habits: what time they like to wake, what they'll actually eat, which activities they'll join. That knowledge shows up in the small-group conversation and quiet stretches built into the daily rhythm. A family looking for assisted living sized to a household of 8, and able to pay out of pocket, is the right fit here. What this home doesn't provide is skilled nursing, independent living, or short-term respite stays; any of those would need to be arranged elsewhere.

Pets aren't part of the picture either, which matters for anyone hoping to bring an animal along. The Southern Hills setting keeps Wellspring Brighton on a quiet residential street a short distance from Bridge Street's shops and the historic stretch of downtown Brighton along Main Street. Prairie Center's shopping district is close too, handy for a family member running errands before or after a visit.

Platte Valley Medical Center sits nearby, so hospital care isn't far off if it's ever needed. No parent company runs Wellspring Brighton from a distance. It's a single, independently held home, and the people making day-to-day decisions are close to the residents themselves. What a family can expect is a private-pay assisted living household where a small number of residents are known by name, not by room number.

Environment

Eight residents share this Southern Hills house, small enough that the whole group can sit down together for meals and settle in together each evening. A furnished living room and a kitchen in daily use give the place the feel of an actual home rather than a clinical facility.

Services

Daily support covers dressing, medication oversight, and safe mobility around the house. Care can expand as a resident's condition changes, but it never moves past the assisted-living tier; independent living and skilled nursing aren't offered. Billing stays private pay throughout, with no Medicaid involved.

Resident Experience

With just 8 residents, the day unfolds in small groups or one-on-one time with a caregiver. Staff who stay with the home over the years get to know each person's morning habits and food preferences, and that familiarity shapes the quiet conversation and small-group activities woven between meals and rest.
