About Brightwork Villa of American Fork
Brightwork Villa of American Fork is a 12-bed residential home at 272 West 500 North in American Fork, Utah, with 11 of those units licensed for Alzheimer's and dementia care. The property operates under the brand name Brightwork Living - The Villa on Fifth and runs as a memory-focused household rather than as a general assisted-living building. The 12-resident scale puts the home at the small-residential end of senior care, where the operating team builds the daily rhythm around individual residents and where each person is recognized by name, daily preferences, and family details.
The care model is built around dementia from the ground up. Caregivers cover bathing, dressing, transferring, medication management, and meal coordination across continuous shift coverage, with training centered on Alzheimer's communication, sensory engagement, and behavior support. Color-coded rooms help residents with cognitive change navigate the building, an independence-focused detail that distinguishes this property from larger memory-care wings inside bigger assisted-living buildings.
Adult day care and overnight respite services are part of the offering for families needing short-term coverage alongside the long-term placement option. Day-to-day life centers on shared common rooms and the dining area. Three meals come out of the home's kitchen, with snacks accessible, and meal patterns are tuned for residents whose cognitive change makes familiar foods and steady timing important.
Activity programming runs at the 12-resident scale, with sensory-engagement programming, predictable routines, and family events anchoring the calendar. Monthly entry pricing starts at $3,400, the property runs as private-pay; live-in pets are not part of the housing arrangement. American Fork sits along I-15 in central Utah Valley, with American Fork Hospital roughly 5 minutes north for routine and emergency clinical care.
Mountain Point Medical Center is about 8 minutes northwest as another option, and Utah Valley Hospital in Provo reaches in 15 to 20 minutes south for tertiary needs. The 500 North block sits in a residential pocket of central American Fork with quiet streets and easy parking for visitors. The combination of small-residential 12-bed scale, dedicated dementia-care licensing across nearly all beds, and adult-day-care and respite options makes Brightwork Villa of American Fork a distinctive option in the Utah County dementia-care market, particularly for families wanting an alternative to memory-care wings inside larger campus-style senior buildings.

I went to this facility to transport a couple of clients once or twice a week they were great people and I enjoyed them and thought the other residents were good to but the management there is not so good a lot of drama, and unprofessionalism with them I really was not pleased…
Family feel, kind caregivers who know and love their residents, good communication, clean, and could feel the love right as you walk in!
Great place, very kind caregivers, the caregiver go the extra mile to provide excellent individualized cares.
