About Country Pines Retirement Community
Country Pines Retirement Community is a multi-level senior campus at 1748 W 1800 N in Clinton, Utah, in central Davis County. The property runs three care levels on one campus: 50 ground-level patio apartments for independent living, 50 private assisted-living units, and a secured memory-care wing for residents living with Alzheimer's or related dementia. The full-continuum-of-care format lets residents shift between care levels without leaving the campus, an unusual feature in Davis County's senior-care market.
The community was founded by Dr. Corey Ericksen, a physician and author, and runs with more than 25 years of senior-care experience. Care staffing covers continuous shifts. Day-to-day support spans bathing, dressing, transferring, medication management, and meal coordination, with diabetic care, incontinence support, and non-ambulatory accommodation handled in-house. The memory-care wing operates as a secured side with dementia-trained caregivers and accessibility features built into the newly-built layout.
Visiting physical therapy and on-site worship services are part of the offering. The culinary program runs as a daily centerpiece. The community publishes a master-chef-prepared menu, with the chef formerly working at the well-known Lion House restaurant; meals come from-scratch with breakfast and lunch included in most plans. Restaurant-style communal dining shapes the day-to-day social rhythm, with snacks accessible.
Activity programming is directed by a 16-year staff member, with art classes, tai chi, live music, day trips, fitness classes, and on-campus religious services on a standing weekly cadence. The community runs a beauty salon, library, exercise facilities, and an outdoor courtyard with a gazebo. Country Pines is pet-friendly, with dogs and cats accommodated for residents in their apartments. Medicaid is accepted alongside private pay.
Caring.com publishes entry pricing at $2,350 monthly for independent living, $2,800 monthly for assisted living, and $3,500 monthly for memory care. Final cost depends on the resident's care plan and the rate sheet active at admission, walked through with your senior advisor. Clinton sits in central Davis County along the I-15 corridor, with Davis Hospital and Medical Center roughly 10 minutes east on Antelope Drive for routine and emergency clinical care.
McKay-Dee Hospital reaches in about 15 minutes north for additional clinical options; Layton Hills Mall reaches in 8 to 10 minutes for visiting-family meals and shopping. The 1800 North block sits in established residential Clinton with quiet streets and easy parking for visitors. The combination of three care levels under one roof, the master-chef culinary program, pet-friendly housing, and the founder-physician provenance makes Country Pines a notable option for Davis County families wanting a full-continuum senior community with a destination dining program.

Really nice retirement center. Patrons are super friendly
Just moving mom there. Very respectful. My mom is excited to be moving in . Well turned out to be the worst place ever. Management was not open to feedback. Did not do what they said would. Pretty much ignored memory care. Do not put your loved one there
Management was unreceptive to feedback and would not fulfill commitments. Lack of activities and attention to Memory Care unit.
