About Marycrest Assisted Living

Meals, housekeeping, and laundry are folded into the daily schedule at Marycrest, giving residents a steady rhythm they can count on. Group activities fill much of the week, and community partners bring in outside programming that adds variety beyond what staff plan in-house. Residents come together often — a planned outing one day, a smaller gathering in the building the next — and that built-in routine takes a good deal off families' plates.

Assisted living is the only care level Marycrest provides, and its wellness nursing team handles the daily hands-on work: helping residents move around safely, assisting with bathing, and managing medications. Monthly rates start near $5,500, though the actual amount depends on how much support a resident needs after moving in. Medicaid covers part of the bill for residents who qualify, and several long-term residents lean on that coverage to manage costs.

The community also takes short-term respite stays, giving caregivers a reliable option when they need a break or a resident needs a short recovery period. The whole community lives under one roof, with residents keeping private rooms of their own rather than sharing space. Marycrest can house up to 90 residents, a large enough population to keep the activities calendar full and wellness nursing staff on hand throughout the week.

Hallways and common areas are laid out for easy movement, so getting between a bedroom and the group spaces stays simple. Families drawn to Marycrest are usually looking for Medicaid flexibility, a pet-friendly policy, and respite care already built into daily life. Memory care, an on-site nursing floor, and independent living are not part of what the community offers. For residents who do move in, staff step up assistance in stages, matching whatever changes come up along the way.

Regis University sits at the center of the Chaffee Park and Regis neighborhood, and its campus activity is visible from the streets around Marycrest. Shops along Federal Boulevard are a few minutes away, handy for family running errands between visits. Rocky Mountain Lake Park gives residents and visitors a nearby spot for a walk or an outdoor afternoon together. Saint Anthony North Health Campus in Westminster covers medical needs that go beyond what the community handles on its own.

Marycrest has run for years under the same local, independent ownership, and that continuity has kept its wellness nursing staff and executive director closely connected to residents over time. The stability shows up on both the clinical side, in medication coordination, and the social side, in a weekly activities calendar that keeps running steadily.

I am helping my autistic frined who just moved to Marycrest. He has settled into his room which was clean and the perfect size for him. He badly needed the meals, cleaning services and laundry services. Marycrest has provided that quite well. Medicaid is covering his costs.
