About Someren Glen

Someren Glen operates as a continuing care community set in a low-rise building on East Costilla Avenue within Centennial's Foxridge neighborhood, and its interior carries a homelike, residential character throughout the shared spaces and apartments alike. The license covers 55 residents across independent living and assisted living apartments, letting residents shift between levels of care as their needs change without ever having to move to a new address.

Monthly rates run near $5,360 for independent living apartments at Someren Glen, while assisted living apartments cost closer to $6,480 and include daily bathing and dressing help, medication oversight, and mobility assistance. The campus operates on a private-pay basis, so Medicaid never offsets costs at either level of care, and staff expand assistance gradually as a resident's needs grow over time.

Pet-friendly apartments let residents bring a cat or dog when they move in from a house, keeping a familiar routine intact through the transition. Open space at Willow Spring runs along the edge of the Foxridge neighborhood, giving residents a trail-lined stretch of green space for walks with visiting family. Quiet residential streets separate the campus from the corridor along University Boulevard, where several eateries make a convenient lunch stop during a tour.

The Streets shopping center at SouthGlenn adds grocery stores and everyday retailers minutes from the Foxridge area, and AdventHealth Parker is near enough for a quick trip during specialist visits or emergency care. Caregivers track individual routines closely across the community's 55 residents, pairing a shared dining program with resident social gatherings held throughout the week. Family members visiting for meals or events can join at scheduled times built into the weekly calendar, and new residents typically receive an unhurried tour before move-in.

Staff answer detailed questions about apartment layouts and transitions between care levels throughout that process. Someren Glen suits families who want independent and assisted living combined on a single continuing care campus, along with pet-friendly apartments for residents relocating from a house. Specialized memory care, skilled nursing, and respite care aren't part of the community's license, which covers independent and assisted living only, a distinction worth weighing during planning.

Someren Glen operates as an independent, Adventist-affiliated nonprofit not tied to a national chain, and that foundation shapes the values guiding daily interactions between staff and residents. The combination of a faith-rooted culture, a resident count that keeps care personal, and pet-friendly apartments distinguishes Someren Glen among the continuing care campuses serving the Centennial area of Colorado.

A nice choice for aging parents. Only 18 apts, so patients get quality care. It's owned by The Aventists, (Advent) so there are Christan values for their care. Avent also has Hospice facility across the parking lot. Most other places are owned by corporate investors,

We spoke to CJ about a relative interested in the facility. She was very helpful, answered all our questions, took us on a tour, and even treated us to lunch. This is an excellent senior community our relative is seriously considering.
