Sunrise of Boulder is a ranch-style community on 28th Street in Boulder, Colorado, set beneath the foothills and looking out on the mountains. Its 110 beds serve residents in assisted living and memory care, and short-term stays with care are offered too, including for people who need somewhere to recover from an operation. Pets may come along with their owners, and couples are able to live together in a single suite.

Care planning begins with one of the community's nurses, who sits down with each future resident before move-in to learn about their health and set a care level.
