About Apple Village Assisted Living
Apple Village Assisted Living is a 90-bed assisted-living and memory care community in Layton, Utah, that has been operating since 1998. The Nebeker family founded the property with a focus on creating an unusual interior environment, and what residents and visitors notice first is the live plant collection, indoor ponds stocked with fish and turtles, and the sound of caged singing birds throughout common areas.
The address is 2600 East Hobbs View Circle in Davis County. The building is a Type II Assisted Living Facility, with around-the-clock staff coverage, daily medication oversight, weekly housekeeping, and assistance with bathing, dressing, and other activities of daily living. Memory care lives in a separate secured wing of the building with its own dedicated team, accounting for 20 of the 90 total beds.
Medicaid is accepted at this community, with rotating openings on the contracted-bed count. Most of the day happens in the indoor garden spaces, where the live plants and pond areas serve as natural gathering points for residents and visiting family. Daily activities span bird-watching from the kitchen deck, group games, music programs, religious services, and bus trips into the surrounding Layton and Kaysville area.
Meals come out of the kitchen three times a day in a shared dining setup, and the kitchen deck looks straight out at the Wasatch Front. The natural-environment design and the family-founded history are the property's defining features, and families looking for that particular indoor-garden setup will find it nearly impossible to match elsewhere in Davis County. The combination of the indoor-pond setting, the secured memory-care wing, and Medicaid acceptance makes this one of the more distinctive Davis County communities to put on a tour list.
Layton sits in north Davis County, with the property's location on Hobbs View Circle in east Layton putting it within a few minutes of I-15 and roughly 8 minutes from Davis Hospital and Medical Center for medical needs. Layton Hills Mall is about 5 minutes away for shopping and casual dining, and Station Park in Farmington is roughly 10 minutes south for sit-down restaurants and seasonal markets. The neighborhood is residential with easy parking for visitors.
The community is operated by Gambit Management, a Utah-based senior-care operator that also runs Apple Tree Assisted Living in Kaysville. Apple Village is the larger of the two Davis County properties and the one that includes a memory-care wing alongside its assisted-living beds. Families looking for the distinctive natural-environment setting alongside Medicaid acceptance will find this one of the more memorable Layton senior-living communities to put on a tour list.

The staff at Apple Village are the best! They are so kind and caring. I’ve seen them work tirelessly to make sure their residents are taken care of. There’s also not a better view in Utah than the one from the kitchen deck!
I have called them 3 times now and been told someone will call me back and that has not happened not impressed
