About Barton Creek Senior Living

Barton Creek Senior Living sits at 499 E 500 S. in Bountiful, Utah, opening originally in 1999 and getting a thorough renovation in 2021. The boutique scale, 62 beds total, separates it from the larger 80-to-150-bed senior buildings that dominate Davis County. The renovation in 2021 brought the building's finishes current, while the 25-year operating history means daily routines and staff knowledge have had time to settle.

What distinguishes the financial structure is the all-inclusive monthly fee. The rate covers three home-cooked meals daily served restaurant-style, daily bed-making and trash removal, weekly housekeeping and linen service, 24-hour emergency call response, and transportation throughout the Bountiful area. That bundled-fee model is uncommon in Davis County senior living, where most pricing is itemized, and the predictability of the structure is one of the main reasons households choose Barton Creek.

Direct-care staffing covers all 24 hours, seven days a week. The boutique-size operation means caregivers know each resident's history personally, and the activity calendar pulls together social, recreational, educational, and religious activities throughout the week. Hospice transitions are handled with continuity through declining health, with the same caregiving team supporting residents across the later stages of life.

Medicaid is accepted at this community, which keeps the boutique-scale operation accessible to Davis County families on a Medicaid budget. The 62-bed scale shapes daily life, a single shared activity calendar at 100-plus-bed buildings, and a tighter amenity set focused on what fits a smaller resident community. The boutique scale paired with bundled-fee predictability and Medicaid acceptance is what most local families end up here for.

Bountiful is the southernmost senior-living anchor in Davis County, sitting immediately north of Salt Lake City along the I-15 corridor. The 500 S. address has Lakeview Hospital roughly five minutes away, and downtown Bountiful's Main Street with its restaurants and shops is within a few minutes' drive. Salt Lake City's downtown is roughly 15 minutes south via I-15, and Layton Hills Mall is 15 to 20 minutes north for shopping.

The neighborhood is residential with easy parking for visiting family. The boutique scale paired with the all-inclusive fee structure differentiates Barton Creek from the larger 80-to-150-bed senior buildings that dominate Davis County. The bundled monthly fee paired with Medicaid acceptance at the boutique 62-bed scale is the property's defining combination for south Davis County families.

The team did a great job of my aunt! She lived there for a few years and I really appreciate their TLC for her, especially while she was on hospice. Special appreciation to Emily- the the Executive Director as well as for Val. Thank you!
