Balfour at Central Park

Balfour at Central Park is an assisted living and memory care community at 2979 Uinta Street in the Central Park neighborhood of Denver, on the redeveloped former Stapleton site where the old airport control tower still stands. A Balfour Senior Living community managed by Kisco Senior Living, it brings the Balfour brand's hospitality to a smaller, newer building focused on two care levels: assisted living and a secured memory care neighborhood.

Assisted living covers help with the daily routine, from medication management to bathing and dressing, in studio and one-bedroom apartments. Memory care runs through Balfour's Heirloom program, a secured, rhythm-centered neighborhood for residents with Alzheimer's and other dementias, with around-the-clock supervision, structured daily routines, and its own dining room. The memory care neighborhood is state-licensed for sixteen residents, which keeps it intimate.

Dining is a centerpiece: the Speckled Egg restaurant anchors the assisted living side with executive-chef, made-to-order meals, a seasonal menu, daily specials, and room service, and special diets from vegetarian to low-sodium are handled. It is private pay, so Medicaid is not accepted, and the community is pet-friendly. The Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, including UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital and the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center, is a short drive southeast via Quebec Street and Interstate 70, and downtown Denver is about fifteen minutes away.
